I was in a garden nursery one day I saw two Venus fly traps in a pot and thought how funny, yet miserable, it would be if the two of them hated each other. One would be a bigot and the other a homosexual. Because of the way those plants look it seemed appropriate to have lots of dialogue. I created everything but the music.
