| It’s time to put your big boy leather-studded pants on. |

about this project
| There are people out there, usually businessmen, who during the week play by corporate American rules. On the weekends, they want to go for something that makes them feel a little wild, as opposed to going with a red border on a spreadsheet table. Some of these guys have the money to go out and buy their own Fat Boy with some leather chaps, shades and a bandana, but there are others who can't afford that. There are others who have Hogs at home but have traveled to Dallas for one reason or another. Big Ride Inc. was created for these Hoggers in mind. For just a couple hundred dollars, one could cruise on a variety of Harleys all day. It’s like an Avis for Harleys. NOTE: The photographer, Robie Capps, drove the bikes with his camera in his lap and I sat on the back with the shutter cable. When he said: “pull” I did what I was told. We had some other shots that were even more risky and required some pretty ghetto rigs. I had to donate my camera for those. It doesn’t work anymore, but we got the film we wanted. “Sorry I mangled the camera honey, but look at these cool photos. Honey?” These were printed using metallic inks, which are really cool and shimmer in the light. Mmm – shiny. |
